Support Work
Support with daily life without someone in your home or personal space.
Designed for neurodivergent and disabled folks who want high‑quality, skilled help without the pressure of in person support.
Sessions can be by text, email, phone or video call.
The types of things we can support with:
To give you a idea of how support work could look, here are some examples.
🪴Planning & Task Breakdown
Breaking down big or unclear tasks into smaller steps.
Turning ‘sort out Centrelink’ into a step-by-step checklist
Making a realistic plan to tackle a bedroom or desk that’s become a ‘doom pile’
Mapping out how to get x, y & z done before your next appointment
👯Body Doubling
Being present (virtually) to help you start or keep going.
Staying on a call while you open a scary email
Keeping you company while you call to make an appointment you’ve put off for months
Chat about your special interest or current hyper fixation while you do the dishes
🤝Gentle Reminders from a Human
Because apps and phone reminders work but only if you remember to set them and don’t filter them out.
Remembering one-off or ongoing tasks
Talking through a check list to prepare to leave the house
Providing gentle (but encouraging) reminders to not miss a due date - and following up with you until it’s actually done
🧾Admin & Executive Function Support
Helping with communication, organisation, and task tracking.
Turning a brain-dump into a clear email
Working on how to word a request
Reading a letter and supporting you to figure out what you might need to act on
Calling around a heap of clinics for an appointment to see who has the soonest availability and the cost
🧠Verbal Processing & Reflection
For when it’s helpful to process and problem solve things out loud.
Rehearsing what you want to say in an appointment or email
Trying to decipher the tone of a message you’ve received
Naming a feeling when you’re stuck and overwhelmed
