Why Nearish Support Exists

Nearish was created for people who want support that feels human, flexible, and real.

Support shouldn’t require you to perform progress, mask your needs, or show up in a certain way to be ‘doing it right.’ It should meet you where you are, in that moment.

We support individuals across Australia who are 18 years and up. Mainly we work with NDIS participants, including people with one or many of the following experiences/identities:

  • Psychosocial disability

  • Autism

  • ADHD

  • Chronic illness (including autoimmune conditions, ME/CFS, POTS and other forms of dysautonomia, MCAS, h/EDS, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, endometriosis, adenomyosis, migraine and more)

  • Trauma and complex trauma (including dissociation and multiplicity)

  • Queer and/or gender diverse folk

  • Other disabilities or health conditions

You don’t need to have a ‘formal’ diagnosis to work with us. We acknowledge and respect self-diagnosis/realisation.

If you need a space where your pace is respected, your communication preferences are honoured, and you don’t have to justify your needs, you’re in the right place.

Who We Work With

Our services are 100% online, so you can connect from wherever you are. We offer:

  • Support Work – practical and social support shaped around your interests, and goals

  • Psychosocial Recovery Coaching – collaborative, goal-focused support to help you plan, problem-solve, and build confidence in daily life

  • Social Work services – skills-based, capacity-building targeted sessions focused on working through specific situations, challenges or barriers
